Heath Ledger

I know that I have not been blogging for the past months. Not sure how long but it did seem like an eternity before I feel that I am once again ready to blog. I was just being lazy and bored that I have decided to take a break from blogging. Gawd! I missed ranting!

Well, for the most part I have been busy with my so-called life. Been working like a maniac, sleeping whenever I get the chance (what? am I a vampire now?) and enjoying the summer season while I still can. As you already know, we have a very short summer season here in the States (in Illinois)…just 90 days to be exact. Actually, I didn’t feel like it’s summer because I don’t think we have suffered so much heatwave compared what we have last year. But, I don’t wanna randomly talk about the weather right now. I will have plenty of time to talk about the dismal weather in my upcoming post.

I was utterly surprised and somewhat devastated with Heath Ledger’s passing earlier this year. I am not a huge Heath Ledger fan though I’ve seen some of his movies and it is quite clear to me that he got a lot of talent. I really admire him in A Knight’s Tale and The Patriot. I have not seen 10 Things I Hate About You though. My buddies thought he was exceptional there. I swear I have to rent the movie next time because my curiosity is killing me!

Anyway, I had the chance to watched the new Batman movie–Dark Knight last week with my friends. I honestly, have no idea what to expect since it’s another Batman movie. The Dark Knight was a very brilliant and fantastic movie! I highly recommend it to anyone who are having second thoughts of watching the movie. I think the movie itself is perfect—except that I had a terrible time trying to understand Batman. I mean, what the fcuk with that weird voice? It was very annoying. I just wanted to smack Christian Bale right there and then! Oh, Heath Ledger’s Joker portrayal was so morbid and quite disturbing too. My whole Batman experience was no doubt one of the finest…this year!
