Heath Ledger

I know that I have not been blogging for the past months. Not sure how long but it did seem like an eternity before I feel that I am once again ready to blog. I was just being lazy and bored that I have decided to take a break from blogging. Gawd! I missed ranting!

Well, for the most part I have been busy with my so-called life. Been working like a maniac, sleeping whenever I get the chance (what? am I a vampire now?) and enjoying the summer season while I still can. As you already know, we have a very short summer season here in the States (in Illinois)…just 90 days to be exact. Actually, I didn’t feel like it’s summer because I don’t think we have suffered so much heatwave compared what we have last year. But, I don’t wanna randomly talk about the weather right now. I will have plenty of time to talk about the dismal weather in my upcoming post.

I was utterly surprised and somewhat devastated with Heath Ledger’s passing earlier this year. I am not a huge Heath Ledger fan though I’ve seen some of his movies and it is quite clear to me that he got a lot of talent. I really admire him in A Knight’s Tale and The Patriot. I have not seen 10 Things I Hate About You though. My buddies thought he was exceptional there. I swear I have to rent the movie next time because my curiosity is killing me!

Anyway, I had the chance to watched the new Batman movie–Dark Knight last week with my friends. I honestly, have no idea what to expect since it’s another Batman movie. The Dark Knight was a very brilliant and fantastic movie! I highly recommend it to anyone who are having second thoughts of watching the movie. I think the movie itself is perfect—except that I had a terrible time trying to understand Batman. I mean, what the fcuk with that weird voice? It was very annoying. I just wanted to smack Christian Bale right there and then! Oh, Heath Ledger’s Joker portrayal was so morbid and quite disturbing too. My whole Batman experience was no doubt one of the finest…this year!

Back from hiatus

After a few months of hibernation, I can finally say that I am back from my untimely hiatus. Having not so much to write about in my blog, I have decided to get a little break from blogging last year. I don’t know if anybody missed me or not but nevertheless, I am back with such vigor and my writing cap seems to be back in full force. I just hope that I won’t bore anyone with senseless blab from me. Let’s keep our fingers X’s then.

Where should I start? A lot of things happened in my life during my absence. No…no…no…I am not married yet nor in any kind of relationship or whatsoever. I am proud to be single (singles unite!) and just basically enjoying my life. I’ve spent so much time in bed before and after the holiday rush (Christmas & New Year’s) late last year. My allergies were so bad and I definitely had to take a lot of allergy medicines (which I really hate) to cope up with everything. Not much of an excitement honestly and the weather didn’t help either. I guess, I pretty much had a maddening holiday. I don’t want to waste anymore of my breath by writing how bored my holiday season was so let me write something else.

I will be attending my very first Anime Convention here in Chicago next month (hooray!). I am excited because I am going with my anime/manga buddy Sharon. I have always been an anime and manga enthusiast ever since I was in diaper (hahaha!) but I am starting my New Year with a bang. I will definitely post pictures here in my blog so just wait and hold your horses fellas.

KUDOS to fellow bloggers, surfers, lurkers for visiting my site. Special thanks to those cyber kadas who dare left messages for me (while I was in hiatus!).  I won’t mention any names but you know who you are guys! You guys rock! Thanks!
